VVDI Super Chip Cannot be Used on Ford F150 4C?

 Problem:

I’ve got the xhorse vvdi XT27a super chip transponder generated by key tool max but it won’t learn on the 2002 Ford F150.  I’ve learned keys before with no issue doing this but for some reason this won’t work.

Solution:

Not 4d 63, use 4c chip. H72 with 4C chip.
Need better transponder, ford’s antenna isn’t strong enough to read those chips.
Use genuine big glass 4c chip. Older Fords do not like taking generated 4c chip. Use a glass 4c chip and then clone that to a Xhorse super chip and should work fine. See it all the time.

 

User feedback:

I removed the clam shell, generated the chip to 4C, and put the chip right inside the coil antenna. Then I was able to learn the chip. I temporarily placed the chip in the antenna on its own while I get the proper 4C chip.

Program VW Passat with CCM All Keys Lost with Xhorse VVDI

 Here’s the trick to programming VW Passat with Comfort Module (CCM) all keys lost by xhorse vvdi tools (VVDI2 and VVDI Key Tool Plus).

1.OBD method

There is MUCH easier way to do these Passat and CC with CCM.

Simply, open fuse box cover on driver’s side

30A fuse will be hot

Put wire, preferably with switch in between 30A hot fuse and 5A fuse

This will force ignition on

Then read immo data

Make dealer key

Adapt key

Remote will need to be programmed separately.

This trick is good but only works on some ECUs. Some totally, some partially (6 bytes out of 7), some not.

This way can work only on edc16 (only some this ecu got 7 byte) rest ecu only 6 bytes and even if fits PCR2.1 you can’t get any cs by obd. So classic way is still best because the results is 100%.

2.

You can disassemble the CCM, remove the immo data eeprom and program key via dump.

For example, it can be done by xhorse vvdi key tool plus or vvdi2.

Remove glovebox, to access module. Remove and desolder chip read and make dealer key. Refit then learn to car via obd.

How to Change Xhorse Garage Remote Frequency by Key Tool Max?

 Users are allowed to switch the frequency of Xhorse XKGHG1EN garage remote manually, over 20 frequencies are available.

 

 

XKGHG1EN Garage Remote is wired remote, so you need to disassemble the key shell to switch frequency.

Remove cover of the garage remote

Tear off the xhorse logo on the back
Unscrew the screw with a screwdriver
Take out cover and take out the PCB of the garage remote

You can change frequency via xhorse vvdi key tool plus, key tool max, key tool max pro and mini key tool.

Here we use key tool max pro to change garage remote frequency.

Connect key tool max with garage remote PCB via remote programming cable

Select Special Function->VVDI Remote Function->Garage door key customization

Read remote frequency, it is 315Mhz

Press the value that need to be changed, i.e 433MHz

Press Frequency offset KHz
the value needs to be within the range it shows, i.e 26

Press settings to complete the modification
Read xhorse garage remote information again, the frequency now goes to 433MHz.

 

Clone 2010 Fiat Ducato Remote with VVDI Mini Key Tool

 Had to share some very surprising news from one of our customers!!

I was working on a flip key for a 2010 Fiat Ducato, and wasn’t able to connect through to the vehicle to program diagnostically.

Program VW Caddy 2016 Key use Xhorse XKB506EN

 Here’s the user feedback on VW Caddy and xhorse remote.

“Today I made a VW Caddy from 2016 successfully. Transpoder was a MQB and the dash a 24NEC32 (VDO cluster), with PIN and CS (12Hex).

It was no ID48, ID48 can be cloned. vvdi mini key tool shows Transponder MQB, not cloneable.

Used a XKB506EN Xhorse universal key, generate remote as 5K0-837-202AD, generate a super chip XT27B as MQB, made dealer key with PIN and CS using autel im508, learned immo and learned remote in 09 central electric.

I think you can also use mqb xhorse key but this is half cheaper.

VVDI Prog JLR BCM 2009 Partition Information Error Solution

 Problem:

I try to clone a JLR BCM XEP768 (2009-)with xhorse vvdi prog, i get a message. Partition information error.
What is the correct way, to get the full data, needed to clone these.

Solution:

Use this

Set D-Flash partition to 128 sectors (32K)
Set EEPROM partition to 0K

Program 2022 Honda Accord Key with Xhorse Key?

 Honda Accord is the new system. Which key can be used to program proximity to the 2022 Accord?

2018-2022 Accord key fobs all look the same.

If Autel asked you if it is newer than a 2020 so answered No. If this year uses the old style Honda Prox, the Xhorse ones should’ve worked.

The process is very murky, specially the instructions. But they all took.

Some people did a 2022 Accord AKL, tried an aftermarket key and it failed. Used a xhorse universal and took it in with no problems.

Xhorse universal smart key worked. Tried aftermarket and original OEM but no lock.

But once you do that, it’ll never accept OEM keys. Ever. The BCM software has been screwed up. Only XHorse keys will program to that BCM. He could’ve easily gotten the car started by programming an XHorse Prox, but the original keys will never work. Its like VW/Audi.
