How to adapt Passat CC keys (Hitag2 PCF7936) by Xhorse VVDI2 VAG key programmer on then bench.
Insert original key into ignition and switch on
Open VVDI2 VAG software
Select Key Learn->Key Learn
Read vehicle basic information
Click on Auto Detect PIN/CS
You can get login (PIN) from menu->Special Function->Engine Control Unit->Read Memory Data, or get login(PIN) from comfort module 95320 dump.
This function only supports read PIN, CS, MAC, the read data now the whole EEPROM. Press YES to continue.
VVDI2 read PIN and CS code success
This type can prepare dealer key with Procedure 4. After get new dealer key, input key number and login(PIN), push button “Learn”
Procedure 4:
This car may have 2 type immo transponder, Megamos48 or Hitag2 (PCF7936)
For car with Megamos48 transponder, it need 7bytes CS and a TP23 transponder
For car with Hitag2 transponder, it only need first 6 bytes CS and a blank PCF7936 transponder
You can get login(PIN) and 6 bytes CS with Engine Control Unit, for
Megamos48 48 type you can find 7th byte CS from working key or from comfort module 95320 dump file.
Procedure 4:
This car may have 2 type immo transponder, Megamos48 or Hitag2 (PCF7936)
For car with Megamos48 transponder, it need 7bytes CS and a TP23 transponder
For car with Hitag2 transponder, it only need first 6 bytes CS and a blank PCF7936 transponder
You can get login(PIN) and 6 bytes CS with Engine Control Unit, for
Megamos48 48 type you can find 7th byte CS from working key or from comfort module 95320 dump file.
Select key number to be learned: 2 and press Learn button
Switch ignition OFF for 5 seconds, then switch on again
Take off key from ignition. After finish adaption, switch on ignition with key
Success.
Done.
