Benz VVDI MB Tool Add Mercedes BGA Key Step by Step

Step-by-step procedure to add bga key:

Step 1 Read EIS data

Connect VVDI MB BGA Tool to the laptop.

Go to EIS Tools. And click Read EIS data.

Reading data success.

Step 2 Password Calculation

Go to Password Calculation.

Select the Chassis: W166, 197, 212, 218, 246 and Mode: OBD

And click Data Acquisition.

Do follow the prompt on the screen.

Insert the working key to EIS, and then click OK to go on.

Insert working key to Device IR Reader, and click OK.

Insert the working key to EIS, and then click OK.

Insert working key to Device IR Reader, and click OK.

Processing data acquisition... (5 minute needed)

Insert the working key to EIS, and then click OK.

Insert working key to Device IR Reader, and click OK.

Data reading success.

Save data.

Step 3 Upload data to send acquisition data

Acquisition finished. Click OK.

Upload the saved data with Upload Data for password.

Upload success. Click OK.

Step 4 Queue result to get result

Queue number 1, require 1 minute to finish. Click OK.

Find correct password. Click Copy.

Password was copied to clip board.

Step 5 Paste password and save EIS data

Go to EIS Tools.

Click Read EIS data.

Click Paste to get key password.

Click Save EIS data.

Click OK to save HC05 format file.

Step 6 Prepare key file

Go to Prepare Key File.

Click Load EIS file.

Select the file to load, and click Prepare Key File.

Step 7 Read and Write Key

Go to Read Write Key.

Click Identification key.

Reading data success.

Again, click Identification key.

How to update Xhorse VVDI MB BGA Tool

VVDI MB TOOL is update online

1. Update Firmware

The program will read the newest software version from server automatically

Update firmware steps:
1) Connect VVDI – MB TOOL to PC with USB cable
2) Choose VVDI – MB TOOL firmware version from Firmware List
3) Press button Update Online, wait the progress end
4) If failed to get firmware list or get something like “communicate with server error!”
while update your device, close antivirus and firewall programs, try again. Change
your internet provider once failed again
5) DON’T shutdown your PC or disconnect USB cable while update device

Reflash Firmware List
Update Online Tool will connect to server automatically and download the newest firmware information. You can press reflash picture button if there’s no display. After you get information success, will display current support firmware list, the software support by specify firmware and the mainly include update information

Device Information
After connect VVDI-MB TOOL to PC and install USB drivers, Press button Device
Information, will show you VVDI-MB TOOL Serial Number, current firmware version and hardware version etc

Update Online
After connect VVDI MB BGA TOOL to PC and install USB drivers, choose you expect firmware version from firmware list, Press button Update Online, wait progress finish (about 3 minutes) (Require internet)

2. Update software
This function require internet support

Use “Menu ->Update Online->Software Update” to obtain VVDI-MB TOOL latest
software version, the software version require firmware version etc. Press Download Link will download the latest software

If there’s no display for software version, shutdown your firewall and antivirus
programs, try again

3. Latest Update Information
This function require internet support
Use “Menu->Update Online->Latest Update Information” to obtain VVDI-MB TOOL latest update information

4. History Update Information
Use “Menu->Update Online->History Update Information” to obtain VVDI-MB TOOL history update information

VVDI Prog Programmer adds BMW CAS4 key Guide

Here is the step-by-step instruction on adding a BMW 5 series key with original Xhorse VVDI PROG programmer by obdii365 technician.

This is BMW 5 series key.

Part 1: VVDI-Prog ecu programmer read out BMW 5 series CAS data.
1) Take out the CAS immobilizer located over the brake and accelerator

2) Follow the VVDI Pro wiring diagram to remove the four red-circled components one-by-one, then solder back after all operation completed.

3) Begin to connect the wires one-by-one, then check whether they are fastened or not.

4) Connect well VVDI Prog

5) Close wiring digram, select Type: cas4-5m48h backup read

6) Click “New”, then “Read”, it will initialize, then crack the chip, then read data, data read successfully, click “Save” to save data to desktop.

Read data successfully!

7) Solder the final component (shown as following picture) back to its location.

8) Put the CAS back to the car, then test the key.

For the firs time to use the key, put the key on this position (shown in the following picture), then press the ON button to start the car, you see the car is starting, this key can work.

9) Close the door and off the ignition to test the remote, okay, it works.

Xhorse VVDI PROG read Porsche BMW CAS4 5M48H and 8pin IC

Xhorse VVDI PROG Programmer V3.4.0 Newest Update can read  Porsche BMW CAS4 5M48H and 8pin IC.

Here we share you the how the vvdi prog work.

Part 1: VVDI Pro read 5M48H

1. Open VVDI Prog software, select type, manufacture and model as MC9S12XEP100), then Click “Wiring Diagram”

2. Maximize wiring diagram: right click and select “zoom window”, then pull down window.

3. Follow the wiring diagram to connect CAS to the VVDI Pro.

4. Start to connect the cable.
The left zone is done, next is to do the right zone.
In this wiring diagram, it only need to remove one 0 ohm resistor to read out data, but one CAS ECU structure is different another one, some needs remove more electronic parts; we will show how to do in the other videos.
5. Next is to remove this 0 ohm resistor.
Wiring is done, 0 ohm resistor is removed
6. Plug adapter into VVDI Pro.
7. Close wiring diagram.

8. Select “New” – “ Read”

You see it is reading data very fast.

Reading data successfully, click “Save”

Next is to check data.
Open the data, drag the mouse to check, okay, data is all read out, close it.

Part 2: VVDI-PROG read common 8pin IC
Use VVDI PRO read common 8pin IC.

Take Elysee immo box for example.
Blow Elysee 8pin 93C46.
Use a clip to insert 8pin 93C46 into VVDI pro adapter and lock it.

Select Type: 1-EEPROM, Manufacture: ATMEL, Model: AT93C46[A]

Click “New Create” – “Read”

Click “Save”

Done.

How to install Xhorse VVDI 2 Comannder software and driver

Original Xhorse VVDI2/VVDI II VAG Vehicle Diagnostic Interface key programmer is available in obdii365.com. Here is the step-by-step instruction on installing VVDI 2 software and driver.

Operating system: Windows XP

Language: Chinese/English

Main Steps:

1. Install VVDI2 software
2. Install VVDI 2 driver

1.Install VVDI 2 software

Open VVDI2 software folder

Install VVDI2-Insatller.exe setup

Select software language

Install VVDI2 Setup Wizard, click “Next”

Save file to C: \Program Files \VVI2\VVDI2 \, click Next

Click “Install”

Install VVDI Device FDTI CDM Driver

NOTE: If you install VVDI2 software (any version) for the first time, you need to select “Next”, otherwise, select “Cancel”

Device drivers are installed. Click “Finish”

VVDI2 software has been successfully installed. Click “Close”

2. Install VVDI2 driver

Generally, VVDI2 driver will be installed automatically. If driver installation failed or programs cannot connect to VVDI2, you need install driver manually.

Manual Install Driver

Open My Computer-> Manager-> Device Manager

Open windows explorer, right click “My computer” and select “Properties”

Open “System properties”

Select “Hardware”-> “Device Manager”, open Device Manager

Install Bus driver: Disconnect other USB cable from PC (Mouse and keyboard should keep connect)

VVDI 2 install with other version drivers: In select “Universal Serial Bus controllers”-> “USB Serial Converter”, double click on it, get properties window:

Click Driver tab.: “Driver Date” should be 3/18/2011, “Driver Version” should be 2.08.14.0. If driver date and driver version are set right, do not install driver again. If not set correctly, install driver with following steps.

Select “Driver”-> “Update Driver”. Open “Hardware Update Wizard”

Select “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)”, click “Next”

Select “Don’t search. I will choose the driver to install”. Click “Next” Sometimes you will get directly, at this situation, go to next 2 steps.

Select “Universal Serial Bus controllers”, click “Next”

Select “Hard Disk….”, get install from disk window

Input absolute path for USB driver folder in install directory (Browse…and choose install directory, or you can find the path from Start->Programs->VVDI2->USB Drivers). Press OK and wait complete.

Sometimes system will ask again for “Are you sure to install this drivers?”, click “Continue”

VVDI 2 is not recognized: you can find VVDI2 (yellow mark) in “Other devices” list from Device
 Manager. Double click get properties window.

Then install driver accord VVDI2 install with other version drivers.

Verify Bus Driver: Open properties window after install driver. Click Driver tab.

Check “Update Date”=3/18/2011

“Driver Version”=2.8.14.0.

VVDI2 software and drivers installation completed.

Mercedes Benz key programmer– VVDI MB TOOL has been released at obdii365 for a few days. A few customers has tested the machine and reported us the test results.

-i have mn022, but still waiting on this cause i need something that can read v51 and v57 password from key, almost ordered mn024+abprog but thought also to buy simon touch nec key lite (cheapest solution). But this vvdi mb bga tool makes the v51 and v57 psw too, and plus BGA key there is no doubt taking this.

-the benz situation becomes more and more interesting… Audi has a new update and comes more and more close to pro tools. And the Legend has released BGA pass calculation also..
