 Xhorse vvdi prog failed to read Land Rover and Jaguar Infotainment Master Controller IMC Headunit main board MCU chip Renesas V850 D70F3552 mcu, it gives a device error and all FF FF. Any idea?

It is encrypted. VVDIProg will not read it.

How Generate ID63 80 Bits Ford with Xhorse Mini Key Tool?

 Question: How to generate id63 80bits for ford with xhorse vvdi key tool plus?

Solution:

Use ID63 40bit, 83 won’t work.  All these claims need 63 80bit, it is because the chip, not only vvdi super chip, but most of them out there, including if you buy a ford aftermarket key, they all have the ability of being a 63(40bit) or 83(80bit), meaning you can convert them using vvdi mini key tool. So it really down to what the car is, if it is a car that need 63 then use the 63 (40bit), if the car need 83 then use 83 (80bit), check ilco auto blank book for reference if you are not sure, or try one of it don’t work, then use mini key tool to convert it to the other then try.

If you have issues generating it just keep an OEM ford key and clone it works every time.

Xhorse VAG MM-007 Change VW Tiguan 24C64 Mileage

Input new km you desired and press OK

Choose login method 1
The instrument cluster turns black, it is normal. It will be reset when correct mileage is completed.

Write new KM successfully.

 Question: why xhorse vvdi mini key tool doesn’t my clone work?  bmw x1 2012 46 Transponder PCF7953.

cloning was possible. but the key does not work.

Solution:

It is rolling code impossible to clone. Don’t clone it, program a new one.

Can’t clone BMW chips, can only be done by programming.
Read CAS and use vvdi super chip, vvdi2 will make a key file 10min easy job.

Program 2013 Nissan Sentra All Key Lost with Xhorse Mini OBD

 2013 Nissan Sentra All Key Lost Situation. Can I use an OEM used (locked) smart key fob I have or must be unlocked before programming? I also have an Xhorse Smart Key and use Xhorse Key Tool Max and Mini OBD Programmer. Thanks for your help or recommendations!

Solution:

Sentra don’t give problems but check module serial, just in case. Don’t want to burn it by reading pincode obd.

Most of them are unlocked.  You can always use xhorse remote to program in first. And then see if you can add the used remote in.

You can use even if is locked! keytool max have an option to renew nissan key. you can also buy the renew adapter.

UPDATE:

programing was successful. Mini OBD read BCM code 5 digit, PIN code 4 digit, unlock steering column,  matching key less than 5 min.

Can Xhorse Key Tool Clone Renault 4A Transponder?

 Question:

 I’m new to this, I got a Renault Logan (4A transponder PCF7952E) and I wanted to clone, and xhorse vvdi mini key tool won’t let me clone, is there a way to clone?

Answer:

This transponder is not clonable.

Only with original 4A chip and showing up by obd. The chip is not cloneable, it can only be programmed via OBD and with 4A chip.

You cannot clone it and the ONLY solution is to program with key programmer using an original chip.

You can make a key via obd2 or read the EEPROM and make a key from it by immo data tool.

I try to recognize the remote under the Remote cloud recognition function. xhorse vvdi mini key tool failed me and threw an error ‘retry to collect or not support this remote’

Solution:

Remote cloud recognition does not recognize all remotes.
