How to reset Xhorse VVDI Super Chip?

The Xhorse VVDI super chips have to be reset to reuse them or you will get an error message.

(Note: only a few chips need to be reset. )

How to reset super chip?

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Put the VVDI super chip into the vvdi key tool/mini key tool and open the xhorse app.
Step 2: Go to keytool and select special functions
Step 3: Select “Set type of VVDI super transponder
Step 4: Scroll down to Reset VVDI super chip. It’s the last option on that page
Step 5: Tap set

How to clone chip 8A Toyota H with VVDI mini key tool?

How to: clone chip 8A Toyota H for Toyota Corolla 2013 with VVDI mini key tool and super chip XT27A66.

Need:

VVDI Super Chip XT27A66 Transponder

VVDI Mini Key tool

Mobile phone

Chip 8A Toyota H (original one and new one)

Steps:

Connect Mini Key Tool via Bluetooth, and have Bluetooth mark displayed on the Mini Key Tool.

Tap “Transponder Clone”.

Put the original key and tap “Clone”.

Select “Toyota H(8A) online calculation”.

1. Put the original key into MINI Key Tool to recognize.

2. Please put the super transponder into MINI KEY TOOL coil to initialize.

3. Server calculated data.

4. Transponder clone.

Test Start.

Security light go off.

Start OK.

How to Clone Vespa S125 2018 Chip 11 with vvdi Super Chip XT27

Have Vespa S125 2018 with ID:11 to clone the chip, I used Xhorse Super Chip XT27 (Chip T5 is okay too) + VVDI mini key tool.

This image shows one Vespa S125 2018 with ID: 11, one Chip T5, one VVDI mini key tool, one mobile phone (to run mini key tool app).

Step by Step:

Test original key: security light go off after turn on.

Clone Xhorse application with Mini Tool via Bluetooth.

Tap “Transponder Clone”.

Put original key into coil position and press [Read Transponder].

Original ID:11 E26FBE800000038A.

Clone with T5 chip or Super Chip XT27.

Tap [Clone].

Put the original key into coil position and tap [Start to clone].

Put the clone chip T5 or XT27 into the coil.

Clone success.

Test new key: turn on then security light off mean ok.

Read clone chip.

ID: 11 E2B89BEFA000000.

The original data and new clone chip are not the same.

Usually 11 and 12 is a stream data, show from the second or third byte..

Don’t worry the data is not the same as long as the key can start.

The difference between VVDI mini key tool remote wired & wireless:

Xhorse universal remote(wireless and wired style) support generation or cloning by VVDI Mini KEY TOOL and VVDI2.

1. Xhorse wireless remote key is with NXP chip.

NXP chip is immo chip, like 46/4D chip. If you use wireless key, it is already with IMMO chip, can generate new key directly. But if wire one, you need to add a immo chip like 46 chip into wire key, then can use normally to start car.

2. Wireless remote support generation or cloning directly without cables, no need to disassemble remote cover.

3.The PCB of wireless style is different from the wired style, the wired remote style PCB with socket for cable connection programming remote.

About VVDI Mini Key Tool Global version (GL version) explanation

From different regions customer’s feedback, they also need some other regions remote options(like ME region they also need some SE and EU database options)
So from Mini Key Tool 2.3.5 firmware there is GL version(Global) for customers.

1. GL version from old 3 regions include(EU ME SE), those 3 old regions will automatically change to GL version from 2.3.5 firmware.
