Xhorse VVDI Mini OBD Add 2009 Toyota Camry Key

 Now I’m gonna use the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max + Mini OBD Tool to program a new key for this car – 2009 Toyota Camry.

 

Prepare an old key and a new key to be programmed.

Plug Mini OBD Tool into OBD2 port firstly.

 

Connect it with Key Tool Max via Bluetooth, press

Immo programming >> Toyota >> Select from model >> Camry >> Flip-keys(4C manually) >> Start execution

 

Wait loading until 100%…

1. Close all doors, insert the old key to ignition switch and turn to ON.
2. Step on the gas pedal quickly 5 times, step on the brakes 6 times.
3. Remove the old key, insert the wanted programming key and turn to ON.
4. Step on the gas pedal once.

Press “OK”.

 

Learn key success! Press “OK”.

Let me test the new key now, okay, it works well.

 

Done!

How to Export Data from Xhorse MINI Prog?

 After read and save data by xhorse mini prog pen programmer, you are allowed to upload data to xhorse data server and share data with other xhorse tools. Check detail instruction below:

 

Step 1: Read Data 

i.e 24C04

Select EEPROM and FLASH function
Select manufacturer-ATMEL->AT24CXX->AT24C04

Check wiring diagram, mini prog indicates to use adapter 3
Press Read->EEPROM

Follow instruction to use the tool to clear the chip pin and connect the device and the adapter
press Start operation

Read data success.  VVDI Mini Prog will also show success status.

Save data

 

Step 2: Transfer Data

Go back to miniprog main function menu

Select File management function ->Local file

You can see the data saved by mini prog.

Select data and press icon on the right
Press Upload

Press Upload here
Upload data success

Check My data
The data already exists in “My data” folder

Visit http://i.xhorse.com on windows browser

scan QR code to quick login

The data read in step 1 was successfully uploaded to server.

Download data to your laptop. Now you can use the data to file make key.

Users can also share data to applications, i,e wechat, Whatsapp etc.

Select the data and press Share and send to object you are going to share with

Step 3: Share data with other xhorse tools

You are required to combine your xhorse tools to share data.

For example, to have key tool max control the mini prog, bind devices and share data.

Program Discovery 3 All Keys Lost with Xhorse VVDI2 and VVDI Prog

 New feedback: Land rover Discovery 3 all keys lost work perfect with xhorse vvdi2 and vvdi prog.

Programmed new 7936 over old keys then add remote keys obd.
Make sure to use a blank original pcf7936 and write new dump back.

The BCM box is behind glove box.

You will need to remove component and put 10k resister across the two wires (blue and red)
In vvdi prog, select go to immo, rover, CEM, disco 3

Then upload dump to make key with vvdi2.

You can also make key via OBD using JLR SDD or OBD programmer (i.e SKP1000).

Xhorse VVDI Prog Read and Write Audi J518 Emulator

 Here’s the tips to read and write Audi J518 Emulator mask 1L59W using xhorse vvdi prog programmer.

 

 

Problem:

My customer bought an emulator online

AUDI C6 Q7 A6 Steering Column Module J518 ELV Emulator

I have read the steering lock from the car which has the 1L59W chipset.  I have read it with vvdi prog already.
I need to convert that file to the 0L01Y format to write back to the emulator.

But the original is 1L59W and it needs to be converted before I wrote it with vvdi prog

Original file is 2kb and needs to be 4kb to write to emulator. 

I would understand if you needed to charge me for this or I would be willing to purchase another emulator if I had to.

 

 

VVDISHOP Engineer solution:

 

1.Write data back to emulator with vvdiprog.

If you have trouble converting file to write back to the emulator, send the original ELV data to our engineer.  We’ll convert data and send you back.

After that you can write back data following the wiring diagram below:

The wiring diagram can be applied to VVDI-Prog, CG100 or R270. Require write EEPROM back only. (Don’t write back FLASH data)

In VVDI Prog software, select Audi J518(2010-) (0L01Y) option to write.

 

 

There is another way to make it work. If you have ODIS, install the j518 emulator to vehicle. Program emulator with ODIS online.

VVDI Mini Prog + Key Tool Max Add Toyota G Chip ID72 Key

 How to use Xhorse VVDI Mini Prog + VVDI Key Tool Max to program Toyota a G chip ID72 key by reading EEPROM? As below is a demonstration step by step.

 

Tools

Toyota ECU immobilizer model

VVDI Mini Prog

VVDI Key Tool Max

 

Take out the EEPROM chip from outer shell, clean the chip pin for ready.

Power on Mini Prog, connect it with Key Tool Max.

Procedure

1. Read EEPROM

Hold Mini Prog straightly to connect with EEPROM chip, press

EEPROM and FLASH >> ST >> M98CX6 >> M93C66(pressure) >> Read >> EEPROM >> Start operation >> Continue

 

Wait for reading…

 

Rename, press “OK” to save.

2. Program dealer key

Go back to Xhorse Key Tool Max function page, press

Special function >> Immo data tool >> Asia >> Toyota >> G-transponder >> G-transponder – 93C66 >> Start execution

Find and select the data file saved just now.

 

Attention: genuine key only, press “OK”.

 

Select an unused position: Key 3, press “Prepare dealer key”.

 

Select “ID67G(ID68G, ID70G)”, press “OK”.

 

Prepare dealer key success.

It can start engine after write back new dump file. Add another new key need load the new data file.

Press “OK” to save the new dump file.

Save file >> Save

 

Save file success, press “OK”.

 

Let’s go back to see Key 3, it has been used now.
