Xhorse VVDI MINI OBD Tool Program Toyota ID4D All Keys Lost

 This is 2003 Toyota with ID4D(67) chip all keys lost, so I’ll use Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max + MINI OBD Tool to program 2 keys for this car. Total 2 steps: program IMMO via VVDI key tool then program remote manually. Without further ado, let’s get start.

 

Step1. Program IMMO

Plug MINI OBD Tool into OBD port, connect to VVDI Key Tool Max.

IMMO programming >> Toyota >> Classified by type >> Immo system >> Type 2(4D 67/68) >> Start execution >> Lost all key

Please switch ignition on.

Insert the key to be matched and open it to the ON position.

Click OK after completion.

 

Whether to continue to program next key? Yes

Insert the key to be matched and open it to the ON position.

Click OK after completion.

 

Insert the first key and switch the ignition switch quickly 5 times, click OK to continue.

Operated successfully!

If IMMO lights keep flashing, please remove the key, insert the key again and switch ignition switch quickly 5 times!

Test the two keys, both are working.

Step2. Program Remote

Following I’m gonna show how to manually program the remote.

1. First open the door then close, open the door and insert key into ignition twice without switching, close the door.
2. Open and close door again, leave door open and insert key once, close the door.
3. Open and close door again, leave door open and insert key without taking out, close the door then open again.
4. Now switch ignition on and off, then take out the key.
5. At this time, you can see the door flashing light is on. Press Lock & Unlock button, then press Lock button again.

 

Programming success.

Close and open door, then close again. Check the new remote, both can work.

Perfect done!

How to Generate Xhorse XM38 Smart Key with Key Tool Max?

 How to generate 2018+ Toyota smart key using the xhorse vvdi key tool max and an xhorse XM38 universal smart key.

You will need the Toyota XM38 versions of their universal smart keys for this.
Make sure we do have a battery in the key.
Go ahead to Vehicle Remote and find Toyota.
Go down the list of all remotes to see if you can find the right FCC ID.

We have an option right there we see our FCC ID HYQ14FBA which should be the correct FCC ID for this vehicle.

We’ll take our remote with a battery in it. We’re going to insert the key on the antenna part of the key tool Max and then we’re going to hit Generate remote.

It’s programming the remote.

It’s putting me in a queue this is one of those you’ll have to have internet access for.

We’ll let it countdown now it’s generating the remote.

Generate remote successfully.

Many new Toyota keys cannot really be unlocked. Even refurbished ones that show up locked and unable to be programmed whereas these XM38 smart keys can be rewritten.

Xhorse BMW CAS4 Solder Free Adapter Chip Crack Failure Solution

 Problem:

I tried to read BMW Cas4-1L15Y with xhorse vvdi prog and CAS4 solder free adapter, read id it’s OK but when try read eeprom always “Chip crack failure,…” so finally try to read with MC9S12 cable, I had to remove the capacitor, and it worked. So then tried again with adapter without capacitor and with it but no way, always get same error. Any solution?

Solution:

When using solder free adapter, try to lower VPP voltage to 3.3V and VCC to 5V. 

Then try again.

 Can you read eeprom/flash for Renault Megane 3 UCH (v850 processor) with xhorse vvdi prog?

vvdi prog read it with no problem.

For vvdi program, don’t select 4-Immobilizer->Renault->Megane UCH
But go direct to the mcu and select the right type and read.

Select 2-MCU->Renesas V850-> D70F3384 for example.

Solution:

You are able to read it with vvdi prog by using the diagram below and disconnecting VCC from programming pads and connecting the external 12v to the pin on the top left corner. Flash3 contains crash data.

I am replacing a dead module that will not accept keys with a used one and need to read ISN from old so I can transfer to new one and sync Dme and cas. This is my cas module type:

Solution:

Here is the procedure.

CAS reads as MC9S12DG256. Only eeprom is needed. Read eeprom, change isn and vin of new CAS to car original isn and vin.

Write eeprom back to CAS, do DME-CAS alignment and you are done.

How to Solve Cannot Receive Xhorse Login Security Code?

 Here comes the common problem. Some users reported they did not receive the login verification code when registering xhorse account. Error request failed.

1.Better use gmail or hotmail instead of other email address.

2. Change a good network and try again.

3. Check spam folder to see if security code is there

 

 

NOTE: If use quick login via mobile phone but did not receive the security code, send your mobile number to www.vvdishop.com to get the verification code.

 

If quick login displays error “Configuration file not existing”, in this case, need to reset tool to the facroty setting, then try again.

Xhorse VVDI BEE Key Tool Lite Device Connect Failed Solution

 Problem:

My Xhorse VVDI BEE Key tool lite is not working. It seems that the USB contact is not good.
I managed to get the blue light on and a message sent with code. Error “device connect failed”. Any solution?

Solution:

Go to mobile phone Settings, check if the mobile phone supports OTG function.

If yes, turn on OTG.

 

How to Enable OTG Android:

To Enable the OTG mode, Find OTG mode in Settings ⇾ Tap on OTG connections ⇾ Then Enable the connection (OTG Mode)

1. Search for “OTG” in the mobile settings.
2. Tap on the “OTG connection” option.
3. Toggle the OTG connection to enable it.
4. Once enabled, you can connect a pen drive or USB device to your smartphone.
