How to Set up Xhorse MVCI Pro with Mitsubishi MUT-III 2023.06

 Good news. Xhorse MVCI Pro was tested working with Mitsubishi MUT-III 23061-00 [2023 version] software.

 

NOTE: MVCI Pro here was only used as J2534 adapter because it does not have Mitsubishi driver if as OEM emulator.

 

You need:

Xhorse MVCI Pro J2534

Mitsubishi MUT-III 2023.06 software

Download ‘common‘ replacement file.

Operating system: Win10 64bit

 

How to set up mvci pro j2534 passthru for Mitsubishi MUT-III 2023.06?

Install MUT-III software and mvci pro driver.

Right click on mut3se shortcut, open file location, go one folder back to see the common folder.
Rename the common folder to anyname like commonORI for example.
Extract the common.rar to same location and start your mut3se from your desktop shortcut.

Cannot Sync and Update VVDI Mini OBD Tool to 1.5.0 Solution

 Problem:

I want to upgrade xhorse vvdi mini obd tool to v1.5.0 but keep failing. Cannot sync the device either.
Is there any solution for it?

How to Update Xhorse VVDI Mini OBD Tool Firmware to V1.5.0?

If not working, try to connect via OBD 12V or use obd2 breakout to provide power, the USB does not have have sufficient power, then try again.

 

Change USB cable or COM Port, try several times.

If all no luck, replace this battery on the main board. Battery type: CR2032.

Sync device again after replacing battery. Then update firmware via Upgrade kit again.

Xhorse Multi-Prog Write Mahindra EDC17C55 IMMO OFF

 Xhorse Multi-Prog Programmer is able to write Mahindra Bosch EDC17C55 pickup IMMO Off successfully. Following I’m gonna show how to do it.

 

Open Multi Prog Software,

Device >> ECU >> Mahindra >> ALL_BOSCH_EDC17C55 >> OK

Connect ECU to Multi-Prog according to wiring diagram.

INT FLASH >> Open >> Pickup IMMO Off file >> Write

Is checksum calculated for writing files?

Note: If the checksum of the file is incorrect, it may cause the module to not work, and in severe cases, it may lead to module damage!

Click “Skip” to write raw data.

Write success.

 

INT EEPROM >> Open >> Pickup IMMO Off file >> Write

Write success.

Done.

Xhorse Multi Prog Read and Write BMW MSV90

 How-to: read and write BMW X3 MSV90 DME using Xhorse Multi Prog programmer on bench.

Read ok, write OK, checksum by multi-prog.

 

Steps:

Reading information from the old computer:

Select ALL from the menu.

Choose IMMOBILIZER.

Read the computer’s serial number.

Select the corresponding option and press OK.

Choose BENCH to read the information without removing the computer.

Follow the schematic to connect the cables.

Click on EEBROM to read the memory.

Click on FLASH to read the file.

Click on OPEN then VERIFY to ensure the file’s integrity.

Click OK to start writing.

Wait until the percentage reaches 100%.

Writing information to the new computer:

Select ALL from the menu.

Choose IMMOBILIZER.

Write the serial number of the new computer.

Select the corresponding option and press OK.

Choose BENCH to write the information without removing the computer.

Follow the schematic to connect the cables.

Click on EEBROM to write the memory.

Click on FLASH to write the file.

Click on OPEN then WRITE to write the file.

Wait until the percentage reaches 100%.

Starting the car:

Connect the new computer to the car. Start the car.

Make sure to use the Xhorse MULTI BROG software version 1.44 or later. Ensure proper cable connections. Verify file integrity before writing. With these simple steps, you can successfully transfer information from an old BMW computer to a new one.

VVDI Super Chip Ford ID49 Key Not Working Solution?

 Problem:

I have vvdi mini Key tool and I use vvdi super chip XT27A with ID49 selected from ID49 Ford USA (They was malesia as well.. i choose USA) generates successfully but car/van doesnt wanna accept chip under programming immo.

Long time aago when i has XT27B and was available i use that chip and work ok but as you know XT27B stop production.

Do you know if XT27A can be generated correctly to work with ford mazda key chip immobiliser id49 hitag pro 2015+ ?

 

Here is the clue:
You could use an XS smart key and generate the profile for which ford key.

You need and should work also.

You can get the XEB510EN B5 Super Remote with xt27b chip.

Xhorse Multi Prog Read and Write Volvo CEM TB28F400

 In my previous test, Xhorse VVDI PROG does not work with Volvo CEM TB28F400 microcircuits . It can erase them but cannot write. Now I’ve already have the next generation Xhorse Multi-Prog Programmer respectively. And the XDMPO4GL VH24 SOP44 Adapter was purchased specifically for these microcircuits.

 

With the TB28F400 B5B microcircuit was installed, now let’s see a clear difference between the Multi-Prog Programmer& VVDI PROG.

Open MultiProgsoftware,

Click “Read”.

Read success.

In the Device settings, I can select “Verify after reading”. It’s very useful option I strongly recommend it.

 

Open the prepared file.

Click “Write”.

Let’s see if it will be successful, just waiting for the result.

Writing success.

Save the file.

Finally, let’s compare the original file with the new saved file.

They are exactly the same.

The files are identical.

 

Actually, the difference between Multi-Prog & VVDI PROG is already clearly: it works with these microcircuits, not only start recording. Therefore, you need to purchase the appropriate adapter SOP44. Everything will be fine.
