Will VVDI Prog Read Mercedes W164 EIS NEC?

 Question before entering:

On the left is a W164 EIS I removed from a car manufactured date in 2005. It is slightly different than the diagram in VVDI Prog. I am aware that some W164 have a NEC chip, but isn’t the NEC in cars after 2009?

I thought all W164 EIS before 2009 can be read with a programmer? or am I wrong?

with Xhorse VVDI Prog you can read 2005 or highest 2006 year….almost all from 2006 have NEC and sure all from 2007 have NEC only yet .
