Problem:
Xhorse MLB Tool – MQB Adapter install.
I have the MQB adapter for VVDI MLB Tool.
I watched a youtube about flipping this board over to swap the chip.
My coil wires are secured, circled blue in the picture. Prevent board from flipping.
Who has dealt with this? Did you manage to break the glue holding the coil wires without breaking the wires themselves ? There is barely any room to work.
Solution:
It could be you already have the new mlb version that comes with the updated chip. No need to swap it. Look at the mask on the IC and compare to the mqb one.
Newer ones will have the enhanced chip installed already.
Don’t need to replace the chip again.
Problem:
I can’t click on read in the Xhorse Multiprog software. its greyed out.
I try it on a different pc too, same problem.
Solution:
The new update add 1 new button in menu: Connect.
To read and write you have to connect to the ECU fist.
So the read and write buttons are grey.
User report: VW Transporter T5 1.9tdi Bosch EDC16U1 ECU, Canceled immobilizer (IMMO OFF) using Xhorse VVDI2 through obd2 without the need for dismantling the ECU.
VVDI2 will also read pin/cs and change km for this ECU.
The IMMO OFF function is under Special Function-> Engine Control Unit.
Select ECU type and do immo on or immo off.

It’s a ChangAn Delphi MT22.1 ECU. Here we will show how to read and write ECU using Xhorse vvdi prog programmer.
Cut the engine control unit (ECU) shell and locate the wiring diagram.
Use a multimeter to trace and mark the required pins for soldering.
Here is the wiring diagram.
Solder the connection wires to the designated points.
Open the VVDI Prog software, selec 2-MCU- Motorola MC9S12 series- MC9S12XET256 Encrypted option.
Cick “Read Chip ID” to identify the chip.
If the chip is locked, use the “Unlock” function to decrypt the chip.
Read, Modify & Write Data:
Click “Read Data” to extract and save the D-FLASH and P-FLASH data.
Process the data with 3rd party software or tuner.
Write back the modified file.

Problem:
When using Xhorse vvdi2 to write a dealer key from immo data I am getting a “failed to set VVDI super chip ! – Error 00”
Tried several of the new ones they were all the same.
But I successfully cloned an id63 with them.
I have also tried generating some transponders and get the same error. Any solution?
Solution:
This bug has been fixed. Please upgrade the firmware to version 7.3.7.
Full Clone BCM BODY BSI FIAT using Xhorse Multi PROG programmer.

multi prog does not have that pinout scheme.

check your tension and welds. It works fine. read and write ok.
