How to Add BMW G Chassis BDC3 Key with Xhorse?

 Xhorse updated BMW G/U chassis BDC03/BCP key adding (cloning) function in October 2025.

 

Compatible devices:

Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus
Xhorse VVDI2 + vvdi prog/multi prog (need to read BDC3 key data with vvdi prog or multi prog)
Xhorse Key Tool MIDI + vvdi prog + multi prog (need to read BDC3 key data with vvdi prog or multi prog)

Key Tool Plus BDC3 function is ready.
vvdi prog and multi prog BDC3 function still under testing. Coming soon.
For vvdi prog try test function 19.
For multi prog try test function 199.

 

Requirement
For users who have activated BMW G BDC2 license, it is free to update BDC3 key copy function. No need extra adapter.

For users without BDC2 license, activate license to enable both BDC2 and BDC3 features.

Only copy the original key with label “Hungary” . Keys with label “Mexico” is locked and cannot be cloned.

 

What key should be used?

Use VVDI XM38 dedicated key (coming soon) or OEM key. Free calculation. Do not deduct any points.

 

How to Add BMW G Series BDC3 Key with Xhorse?

1.Read/collect original key data with key tool plus/vvdi prog/multi prog.

2. Load key data to key tool plus/vvdi2/key tool midi to copy key.

vvdi prog/multi prog pinout to BMW BDC3 key.
