Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max PRO Program FIAT 500 New Key

 Today I’m gonna show how to add a new smart key for 2009 FIAT500 first version with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max PRO by OBD.

 

Turn ignition on.

Connect VVDI Key Tool Max PRO to car OBD port.

 

Immo programming >> FIAT >> Select by area >> European area >> 500 >> Flip-key(2008-2017) >> IMMO system(DELPHI 93C86_ID46) >> Start programming >> Type 1(93C86) >> Display immo information(PIN, Key ID)

Here we can check the password: 27665

 

Press “Make dealer key”

Please put the key or blank 46 chip in the sensing coil of the Key Tool Max PRO and keep it still, because some non-original key position will be different.

Press OK.

Generating dealer key, please wait…

Generate dealer key successfully.

Press “Key programming”.

All keys that can start the vehicle must be programmed, keys that are not programmed will be scrapped(cannot be programmed again).

The new key to be programmed must be a dealer key!

Press Yes to continue.

 

Please enter a 5-digit security code: 27665

Here Key Tool Max PRO will automatically enter it.

 

Switch ignition on.

Current key number: 2

Insert the wanted programming key, switch ignition on.

Programmed successfully.

Press Yes to program next one.

 

Remove the current key, then insert the key to be matched and turn on ignition!

Programmed successfully.

Press No to continue.

 

Turn the ignition off.

Switch ignition on.

Key program function ends.

Test the new keys, both can start the car and remote work OK.

Xhorse Multi Prog vs UPA to for MC68HC08AZ32 Processor

 It is a processor MC68HC08AZ32. Try to read the processor from Security Byte using two programmers, Xhorse Multi Prog and UPA-USB S.

 Here is the Ford Transit 2014-2018 BCM body control unit pinout to Xhorse VVDI Prog.

In case some followed the connections in VVDI images but got a frequency error when trying to read the chip.

VVDI2 Program 2007 VW Passat Comfort 95320 All Keys Lost

 How to program 2007 VW Passat with Comfort module 95320 all keys lost using Xhorse VVDI Mini Prog and VVDI2.

Model: 2007 VW Passat B6
Transponder: Megamos ID48
EEPROM chip 95320

 

1- Read EEprom in Circuit using VVDI Mini Prog (1 shot straight in the head),

Remove comfort module, read eeprom 95320 with Mini Prog or VVDI Prog.

2- Decrypted EEprom with VVDI2

 

In VVDI2, select Immo dump tool, select Europe->Passat->Comfort ID48-95320
Upload eeprom data read by mini prog.
VVDI2 will extract pin code.

Read EEPROM out of circuit,  found 7th Byte

Go to Passat B6/CC 4th Immobilizer system
Find 7th bytes CS code from ECU dump file
Decrypt 95320 dump to get 7th bytes
Then you can make dealer key with CS and PIN.

1- overwrote key#3 with ID48 from smart key
2- Overwrote key #2 using XT27A Superchip.

Xhorse Multi Prog VAG MQB All Reads Are Different?

 Question:

D70F3426 VW cluster. Read 3 times with xhorse multi prog all 3 reads are different. Does anyone know why? Shit soldering? Put the eeprom back on? This cluster is new would be nice to have virgin files.

Solution:

This is normal as it’s encrypted so every time you power the cluster it will change.

Its the tool that encrypts the reads. Its a security protection messure.

Vag clusters don’t have Virgin files. Works different, virgin files are useless.

Just try decode immo data in vvdi2, always same result from different dumps.

Xhorse XM30 RAV4 2020 Keyless Function Not Working Solution

 Problem:

Tried to add a smart key on a European Toyota RAV4 2020 with Xhorse XM38. I can read eeprom with vvdi key tool plus, erase all old keys, OEM key remains, and fully functional.

I have created, 8A smart. Rav4 0410 AA. ID8A.
And adjusted frequenting. I can add this, new xm38, Remote works, and push start button with key, car starts. No keyless entry, and no keyless go.

How to fix it?

Solution:

It’s a dual frequency. In the USA market early smart 312.35/314.35 MHz. If it takes and something is not working correctly proximity or remote flip the frequency 314.35/312.035 that makes all work. Early 312.35/314.35 later 314.35/312.35 and then first generation 314.35 ASK followed by 314.35 FSK.

Try it with dual freq (433 something/413 something) if there such thing in the remote generating menu. If it’s working the trunk button will be dead you must manually change the remothe config in the remote generation menu. There will be the correct value in the menu something 0B or similar for the trunk.

 

User feedback:

Tried total of 4 dual 433 options.

And of course always the last that worked.

Xhorse Multi Prog Land rover EDC17CP11 IMMO OFF

 It is a Landrover Discovery 2013. Here we show how to read EDC17CP11 ECU and turn immo off with xhorse multi prog programmer.

 

With multi prog you can enter Bosch number to query ECU type. It is a Bosch EDC17CP11 ECU.

In software, select  Land rover Bosch EDC17CP11 (Land rover-Discovery)

Check wiring diagram

Connect Multi prog with ECU follow the pinout.

Then read and save INT eeprom.

Read and save INT flash

Read ID ok, read flash ok

Read and save EXT flash.

Xhorse Multi-prog can do some MED17 and EDC17 IMMO Off but not all ECUs.

Go to Tool->Turn off the IMMO (IMMO Off).

If you search EDC17CP11 there is no ECU in the list.
It is a TC1796, so we try to use the TC179x that means any number can do that.

Load EXT flash

After load EXT flash, Press Turn off the IMMO

Press OK to generate immo off file.

Successfully generate immo file. Save the immo off file.
