1. Why does it need 2 tokens using VVDI MB for AKL on bench?

Step 1: Read EIS dump

Read EIS w211 ST12 dump file by vvdi prog and ezs adapter

Select proper type in vvdi prog and check wiring connection

Read and save dump file

Step 2:  Calculate key file then write new key
In vvdi mb software,select Prepare Key File->Load EIS file
Load dump file that read by vvdiprog
Choose V51 format and prepare key file 1-9
All key files save at EIS folder
Go to Read/Write Key->Check BE key that unuse
Load key file->Choose key number 3->Write

How to use Land rover KVM Adapter for VVDI Prog?

One special Clip Adapter, working together with Xhorse VVDI Prog programmer, can be used to read KVM for landrover without Soldering.

I do have this usd soilder pensil I make from pensil I fin in Enterprize car park while I work there one day. It short wire so work close to adapter in liter socket on car. Work greats.

Q: For all that work. I would just keep a new kvm in stock. They list for $170. And then use pathfinder and program it.

A: U cant program even with new kvm…
BCM will be locked and not allow programming…

Been there done that still need to replace bcm unless u have a way to unlock bcm too.

VVDI2, Lonsdor, HTAG Pro which tools for Mini Cooper CAS3 and FEM?

Purpose: to make keys for CAS3, CAS3+ and ++

Confusion: sometimes MINIs are different on some things, because I haven’t tools for keys (I just have VVDI Prog).

Question: VVDI2, Lonsdor, HTAG Pro which tools for keys?

Tools for keys and how to’s:

the trick is when cas is encrypted . why mini are complicated is because of location of cas on these cars .

when cas is encrypted you need to downgrade cas . you can downgrade it by obd but probably you will kill it . so in this case you need to read cas on bench and do keys for the car .

taking cas out is a 2 hours job on minis , cas is located on the upper side of dash ..

as for the tools I use Xhorse vvdi2 .. works great.
