VVDI MB Program Benz W220 All Keys Lost

 Here is a little walkthrough on Mercedes W220 all keys lost programming. One of our customers successfully calculated password via OBD without soldering.

 

A Mercedes Benz W220 EZS all keys lost.  Autel couldn’t do it, the password could not be read by xhorse vvdi mb tool through IR using the 1-4 min method.

After 14 hours of reading and failing through OBD (Direct Connection) to get Password, I was finally able to password calculate using VVDI MB.

the Chip is a 1D69J I have K-Line Can H Can L 3x 12V connection and ground. This EZS is problematic. The easiest way is just to desolder the chip and read it. But since I didn’t have the adapter to read MCU off circuit with VVDI Prog. I did it the only way I could. So it’s a success either way at the end of the day.

OBD Mode via Bench not on car. 1D69J MCU needs to be taken out and read on EZS adapter which I do not have. The fast method does not work.

EIS stood at the office reading and calculating with the VVDI MB which took 14 hours reading the 1D69J EIS data.

Read and Failed 641 times but with every failure the progress moved up 1% each time. So I kept reading even though it failed until it completed 100%. Than I uploaded the cluster of information.

I succeeded making the key without soldering.

It took me a lot of time to complete. The job could be easier if you have EZS adapter or ak500.  Read mcu with Prog or AK500 then upload file via vvdi mb.

Tips to Generate Xhorse Remote for Toyota RAV4 19-21

 Some reported that they failed to generate Xhorse Toyota universal remote for 2019-2021 RAV4 US/JP model with vvdi mini key tool and were unable to learn to vehicle. Here’re working experience and suggestions.

Suggestion:

Use this key option (HYQ12BDM) and make sure you use a 4d-74 Toyota master chip.
You should learn in 2 steps, 1 key, 1 remote.

for future reference look the vehicle up on your key supplier’s website, then compare the FCC and IC numbers, that’s what you need to match up don’t go by the picture or description, go by the numbers.

 

 

Working experience:

Making progress. 2019 Toyota RAV4 built in Japan for US market. We have made multiple attempts at using Xhorse Universal remotes on 2019 and up RAV4 with no luck. I was out of stock on OEM keys and decided to once again try a universal. Following the advice above I made about these vehicles I flashed it for HYQ12BDM and it learned to the car, this FCC is neither a match for this rav or the previous ones and I have attempted with universal, but this one worked.

Xhorse MQB Smart Remote Cautions Before Use

 Learning the questions below to make better use of Xhorse MQB Smart Remote for VW/ AUDI MQB system key programming.

 

Question 1: Failed to make a VAG MQB key with Xhorse smart remote?

Lots of locksmiths don’t know the reason why they always failed to make a VAG MQB key with Xhorse Smart Remote.

Can Xhorse Key Tool Clone Ford 4D83 Key?

 Question:

Having trouble cloning 4D83 chip from 2012 Ford Edge and a Ford Mondeo 2013 with both Xhorse VVDI Mini Key Tool and Key Tool Max. Are these not clonable via super chip?

Solution:

We have confirmation from xhorse engineer that it won’t clone because it’s 80bit. The tool can’t calculate it.

You can’t clone most ID83 80bit keys. True 80 bit ford keys can’t be cloned.  You can clone 4D83 bit for Focus and Kuga models ONLY via xhorse super chip xt27.
Clone 4d63 80 bit is not problem.

You can generate one and program it via obd easily.

Xhorse Audi BCM2 Data Reading Writing Error Solution

 Here comes the 2 working solutions to common Xhorse Audi BCM2 adapter data reading and writing problems using VVDI Key Tool Plus or VVDI Prog.

  • Unknown error 130400.1
  • Writing service mode data to 99%, write failed

 

 

  1. Solution to “unknown error: 130400.1”

Read DATA1 success, reading DATA2 got “unknown error: 130400.1” error when progress goes to 2% it says “the data reading failed” with vvdi key tool plus.

How to fix?

Proceed with caution when you get “unknown error: 130400.1”. just check if the wiring or the adapter has stable contact and if the external power supply is stable, again try 1-2 data reading until successfully (do not read DATA1 again during this process, or do not try to unlock and try to install back to the car). After the data reading is normal, there will be no other problems, and then you can install back to the car.

  1. Solution to the writing service mode data to 99%

Read both DATA1 and DATA2 data successfully, the IMMO data and service mode data are generated successfully. However, vvdi prog reports an error when writing service mode data to 99%, after trying again, the system pops up that the erasure failed. After that try to read DATA1 again, it will not be able to read.

How to fix?

If you have the same problem that the DATA1 and DATA2 data is read successfully, also the service mode data is saved, then just select the unlock option to unlock the CPU.

Wait until the system says that the unlock is successful.

At this time, choose the service mode, then import and write the service data.

Program Opel Insignia ID47 Remote with VVDI Mini OBD Tool

 Problem:

I’m programming an xhorse wireless remote key to Opel insignia, the car starts normally but the remote is not working. First generate the remote for opel id 46, then programming to the car.
program the transponder ID47 Opel as well. I’ve tried it with vvdi mini obd tool also from car menu but nothing, any idea?

Finnaly the remote is working after programming by the mini key tool! For those that need information just follow these steps (just insignia, other model can be different)

Go to Vehicle Remote- Opel 433 281- Select from system – Immo system – Type 1

Can VVDI2 Write Back 2005 Discovery 3 Unused Slot to CEM?

 Question:

2005 Land Rover Discovery3/LR3 AKL I pulled the CEM read the data with xhorse vvdi prog and wrote back to the 5th unused slot and wrote the data back to the cem with vvdi2. Now before I go to reinstall I am second doubting myself, should I be using a used slot instead? I saw another post where they say you can use a used slot, and then another post where if you use an unused slot you just have to learn key to car when you install. Any idea?
